摘要: The ability of epithelial cells to change shape is essential the patterning tissues and organs during development vertebrate embryo. Epithelial morphogenesis mediated by molecular regulation cytoskeletal dynamics which underlies cellular adhesion, motility, polarity, proliferation. Shroom family proteins regulates promoting MyosinII-dependent changes in morphology through bind both F-actin Rho kinase (Rock). Shroom3 necessary induce apical constriction neural epithelium required for proper tube closure development. However, roles other members are unknown. This work seeks determine role mechanism action Shroom2 cell biology. Through RNAi, loss reduces contractility endothelial cells. physically interacts with Rock its cortical localization. By impeding localization reducing contractility, knockdown alters organization, motility ultimately affects vitro angiogenesis. During these studies, it also became clear that localizes centrosome where maintain efficient duplication a Rock-dependent manner. results described here expand sub-cellular mediates subset functions within
