摘要: Finite element based formulations for flexible multibody systems are becoming increasingly popular and as the complexity of configurations to be treated increases, so does computational cost. It seems natural investigate applicability parallel processing this type problems; domain decomposition techniques have been used extensively purpose. In approach, is divided into non-overlapping sub-domains, continuity displacement field across sub-domain boundaries enforced via Lagrange multiplier technique. finite literature, approach presented a mathematical algorithm that enables processing. paper, system viewed system, sub-domains connected by kinematic constraints. Consequently, all applicable enforcement constraints in become present problem. particular, it shown combination localized technique with augmented formulation leads interesting solution strategies.
