摘要: This paper presents a fast and reliable method, for obtaining all the range of dispersion curves wave propagation usually used in practice, by numerical simulation only, via common commercial finite element codes. Essentially, method is based on simple robust approach, consisting few series modal analyses representative part inspected structure. In this way, different lengths, one can find mode shapes corresponding natural frequencies solving some real, symmetric well numerically conditioned eigenvalue problems. The allows extraction propagating modes only and, spite not producing continuous curves, it susceptible to aliasing effects, as similar methods are. Additionally, complete graphical representations guided waves are possible with minor calculus effort.
