摘要: The vibration behaviour of periodic structures may be described by a characteristic “propagation constant”. natural frequencies the finite structure are related to variation purely imaginary part this propagation constant, known as phase constant. A method is presented for using element technique evaluate constant an arbitrary structure. applied two types construction. first periodically supported infinite beam. second skin rib structure, with dimensions typical tailplane. Two models tailplane considered, beam model and plate model.
