The cytotoxicity of macrocyclic trichothecenes, roridin A and verrucarin A, on murine T-cells is reduced by Ia-negative splenic adherent cells

摘要: The in vitro effect of macrocyclic trichothecenes, roridin A and verrucarin A, a non-macrocyclic trichothecene, T-2 toxin, on the concanavalin A-induced murine T-cell blastogenesis was investigated. trichothecenes inhibited both thymocytes splenocytes, splenocytes being more resistant than thymocytes. Such resistance to not observed splenic T-cells separated from other cell population, nor depleted adherent cells. In order find population responsible for resistance, toxins were incubated with fractionated cells then cytotoxicity supernatants incubation mixtures examined by using assay. results showed that Ia-negative had ability reduce but T-2.
