摘要: Summary The Blacklane Brook profile, first published in 1964, has been re-examined and given firm dating the light of archaeological fossil tree-line interest that profile generated. A much fuller record open vegetation Flandrian I is presented, many new pollen types for site are indicated. The recession phase noted 1964 found this also dated to begin ca. 7760 BP. It thus placed well within Mesolithic cultural period. resolution diagram difficulties interpretation upland sites do not make it possible statements about location at different periods.
