摘要: Background: Smear layer removal and collagen fiber exposure may improve regeneration which can be accomplished by use of root biomodifiers. These enhance the degree connective tissue attachment to denuded roots. The objective this in vitro study was evaluate compare novel canal irrigant other biomodifiers for smear on periodontally involved human teeth. Materials Methods: Forty teeth were collected stored saline. After scaling planing, two samples obtained from each tooth. Thus, a total 80 dentin blocks randomly divided into four groups: Mixture tetracycline, acid detergent (MTAD), tetracycline hydrochloride (TTC HCl), citric (CA), ethylenediaminetetraacetic (EDTA). agents applied 3 min active burnishing. Immediately following treatment, specimens rinsed, dehydrated, fixed prepared scanning electron microscope examined at Χ 3500 magnification. Sampaio's index evaluated previously trained blind examiner using photomicrographs. Groups compared analysis variance followed Tukey's post - hoc test. Results: acid, is most efficacious removing showed statistically significant dentinal tubules opening, EDTA, TTC HCl, CA. Conclusion: conventional used alters surface tubules. Hence, MTAD as biomodifier have role periodontal .
