摘要: Background—In a multicenter, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, the long-term effects of amiodarone on morbidity and mortality in patients with congestive heart failure (CHF) atrial fibrillation (AF) were evaluated during 4-year period. Methods Results—Of 667 CHF, 103 (15%) had AF at baseline. Of these, 51 randomized to 52 placebo. The group sinus rhythm comparable except for higher proportion nonischemic versus ischemic cardiomyopathy (41% 27%, P<0.005). mean ventricular response (VR) over 24 hours was reduced by 2 weeks (20%, P=0.001), 6 months (18%, 12 (16%, P=0.006).
