摘要: Axial flux-segmented rotor-switched reluctance motor (SSRM) topology could be a potential candidate for in-wheel electric vehicle application. This has the advantage of increased active surface area torque production as compared to radial flux SSRM given volume. To improve performance axial (AFSSRM), various stator slot/rotor segment combinations and winding polarities are studied. It is observed that ripple high designed three-phase, 12/8 pole AFSSRM. Therefore, influence rotor arc angles on average In addition, adjacent segments displaced with respect stator, reduce dips in phase commutation region. The proposed arrangement analyzed using quasi-3-D finite-element method-based simulation study it found can reduced by 38%. Furthermore, low-frequency harmonic content output compared. variation electromagnetic attractive force discussed. effectiveness technique verified experimentally.
