摘要: Liposarcoma is a malignant neoplasm of fat tissue. Well-differentiated and dedifferentiated liposarcoma (WDL/DDL) represent the two most clinically observed histotypes occurring in middle-aged to older adults, particularly within retroperitoneum or extremities. WDL/DDL are thought broad spectrum one disease, as they both associated with amplification chromosomal 12q13-15 region that causes MDM2 CDK4 overexpression, useful predictor for diagnosis. In comparison WDL, DDL contains additional genetic abnormalities, principally coamplifications 1p32 6q23, increase recurrence metastatic rate. this review, we discuss xenograft transgenic animal models generated studying progression WDL/DDL, highlighting utilities pitfalls such approaches can facilitate impede development new therapies.
