摘要: The schizophrenia-crime relationship was studied in 151 research participants meeting DSM-IV criteria for schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder and with histories positive negative criminal charges, convictions offences involving violence. These crime-related variables were regressed on a block of nine predictors reflecting non-specific illness context (e.g. demographic, social) 14 specific content symptoms). Context predicted unique contributions from employment status, education substance use. Further significant validity provided by content-related including symptoms (paranoia, depression, low energy), but not cognitive performance (verbal non-verbal ability, working memory, processing speed, verbal word fluency, inhibition, practical cognition). In contrast, neither nor violence variables. results suggest that contextual intrinsic aspects schizophrenic make interaction law enforcement therefore charges more likely.
