Is lack of insight associated with physically aggressive behavior among people with schizophrenia living in the community

摘要: It is presently not known if lack of insight related to physically aggressive behavior toward others among persons with schizophrenia, after controlling for predictors such as psychopathy traits, and positive symptoms. Patients schizophrenia (n = 209) were followed 2 years discharge. At discharge, symptoms assessed. the beginning each six-month period, assessed, whereas behavior, reported by patients collateral informants, was assessed at end period. Lack associated in univariate analyses but did contribute prediction once scores entered into model. The results demonstrate that individuals more strongly high traits than insight.
