摘要: A flexure mount particularly adapted for use in a dynamically tuned gyroscope provides universal coupling between rotor element and drive shaft. The features substantially planar "spider" member oriented transversely to the spin axis of rotor. spider has four webs that each extend radially from an inner gimbal ring segmented outer having independent sectors associated with centered on one webs. Two mutually perpendicular "vertical" or cross members have key portions through radial slots spider. central apertures coaxial axis. An alignment is seated aligned apertures. vertical are set axially extending formed member. preferably etched stamped precision rolled sheet material. In preferred form, mounting by identical upper lower halves which sandwich their opposed faces receive members. components self-jigging self-aligning. Once assembled, all secured simultaneously only brazing operation, using preformed foil.
