摘要: Abstract The Aedes aegypti midgut is restructured during metamorphosis; its epithelium renewed by replacing the digestive and endocrine cells through stem or regenerative cell differentiation. Shortly after pupation (white pupae) begins, larval are histolized show signs of degeneration, such as autophagic vacuoles disintegrating microvilli. Simultaneously, differentiating derived from form an electron-dense layer that visible 24 h begins. Forty-eight hours onset, yield electron-lucent cytoplasm rich in microvilli organelles.
