摘要: Until recently, brain phospholipid metabolism was thought to consume only 2% of the ATP consumed by mammalian as a whole. In this paper, however, we calculate that 1.4% total consumption is for de novo synthesis ether phospholipids and another 5% allocated phosphatidylinositide cycle. When added previous estimates fatty acid recycling within maintenance membrane lipid asymmetries acidic consume, respectively, 8% net consumption, it appears can up 20% consumption. This new estimate consistent with recent evidence actively participate in signaling remodeling, among other processes.
