摘要: Objectives To test the hypothesis that administration of 2.4 g amino acids (AA)/(kg·d) to very low birth weight infants is safe and results in a positive nitrogen balance. Study design We conducted randomized, clinical trial. Preterm with weights t tests, Mann-Whitney χ 2 tests were performed compare groups. Results Infants supplemented AA had no major adverse side effects. Their blood urea levels higher, balance turned upon administration, more concentrations within reference ranges. Conclusions High-dose can be introduced safely from onward an anabolic state.
