摘要: Background and Aim In our previous study, we demonstrated that four microRNAs (miRNAs) (miR-26a, miR-142-3p, miR-148a, miR-195) were downregulated in both plasma tumor tissues confirmed to be promising non-invasive diagnostic biomarkers for gastric cancer (GC). Methods We used the quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction assess expression levels of miRNAs from paraffin-embedded surgical specimens GC patients. Kaplan–Meier curves log-rank test applied predict correlation between cumulative overall survival (OS) patients with GC. Besides, performed vitro assays including cell proliferation, migration, invasion colony formation, apoptosis. Results The median miRNA as cutoff value classify into high or low groups. Down-regulation miR-26a miR-148a was significantly associated shorter OS either set (miR-26a: P = 0.009; miR-148a: P = 0.005) validation P = 0.011; P = 0.024). When two sets combined, Cox regression analysis independent prognostic factors predicting HR = 0.76, 95% CI = 0.61–0.94; HR = 0.73, CI = 0.58–0.91). Furthermore, elevated miR-26 suppressed induced apoptosis MGC-803 cells compared negative control groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion These findings supported could serve potential
