摘要: Abstract The promotion of renewable energy production requires the cooperation previously unrelated actors. In Netherlands, a government subsidy pushes biomethane producers into relationship with operators gas network. However, this proved to be very difficult. This research analyzes problematic interaction between and network in case injection Dutch natural grid. We draw on concept ‘institutional logics’ improve our understanding identify divergent practices belief systems. contributes multilevel perspective socio-technical transitions, particular insights niche regime. Based interviews secondary data sources we find diverging logics for operators. differences regarding goals pursued, decision-making style, scale operations hamper productive cooperation. also observe that ‘boundary spanning’ individuals step increase mutual forge working relationships. existing leave little room maneuvering, given embeddedness stability thinking, acting, physical infrastructure. Mismatching institutional form serious hurdle successful injection, thus hinder transition towards more production.
