摘要: Sunlight exposure and aging are two major factors in the deterioration of skin function. In present study, we used eighty formalin-fixed human samples from sun-exposed unexposed areas old young individuals to evaluate presence miR-125b-positive epidermal stem cells (ESCs) by situ hybridization. ESCs were detected basal layer epidermis. The density was significantly associated with age rather than sun exposure, whereas tended decrease area. These data suggest potential use miR-125b as a surrogate marker for quality cells.
