摘要: A real-time, optical, nonlinear attenuator device situated in the image plane of an ocular special construction provides a highly sensitive, broad spectral band, selective, glare reduction ocular. This system is suitable for eye or camera which directed at scenery with illumination ranging from that room interior to outside daylight. Special adaptations spatial light modulator technology and modifications optical power limiter art increase sensitivity bright by orders magnitude over current systems using known passive, materials. The concept includes input lens gathers more rays than can pass order further enhance sensitivity, contains places filters, operates either absorption-promoting scattering intermediate plane, corrects inversion embodiments transmissive reflective operation.
