On winds from giants in binary systems

摘要: We explore the influence of a companion on wind from giant in binary system. have developed simple method for estimating enhancement and intrinsic non-sphericity outflow this case. Assuming Roche model (modified to account reduced effective gravity giant), local stellar parameters ( T eff , g ) are calculated. This, according our approach, allows derive mass loss rate. The varying results is studied. A relation between ratio radius lobe overall obtained both numerically an analytical approximation. similar derived equatorial-to-polar intensity contrast.
