摘要: To identify the structural role of alloying element M (M = Ti, Ga, Co, Fe) on glass-forming ability (GFA) Cu50Zr50 base alloy, atomic structures binary and ternary metallic glasses were examined by extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectroscopy. The EXAFS curve-fitting analysis indicates that main difference among is in packing density Cu-centered clusters. relative shortening Cu–M distance closely related to heat mixing between Cu M: more negative mixing, larger distance. Based a systematic component properties GFA data for Cu–Zr based alloys, it suggested elements bring uniform distribution size possess strong chemical interactions with components should be selected developing large-size bulk glasses.
