摘要: Three separate experiments were performed to evaluate how the topography of a behavioral response and its consequences influence effects produced by ozone (O3) exposure. The first experiment measured responding food-deprived rats working obtain intermittent delivery small pellets food completing an active response, wheel running. Low O3 concentrations (0.12 ppm) reduced frequency running responses maintained this fixed-interval 10-min schedule delivery. second examined O2 on performing (nose poking) that required minimal physical effort produce deliveries pellets. Rats in situation began show reductions at 0.5 ppm O3. A third showed requiring effort, such as lever pressing, can be sensitive index exposure if provides access We concluded increased activity during appeared important variable determining sensitivity
