摘要: Although sporadic information of fine needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) on various tissues and organs has been reported since 1847 [1, 2], the technique more widely used as a diagnostic procedure only 1930s [3]. FNAB was initially employed to obtain samples tissue from superficial lesions or palpable organs. However, increased expertise in its use introduction new imaging techniques guidance for needle, well experience cytopathologists, have allowed extension this deep sited lesions.
