摘要: Thirty patients had anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction for ongoing instability. Two groups were defined according to gross morphologic features identified during reconstruction: disruptions with scars attached a structure in the joint and without reattachments. Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction subset of extracellular matrix molecules, proteinases, proteinase inhibitors was done on samples scarred tissue removed reconstructive surgery. Results nonattached scar group showed significantly increased mRNA levels Type I collagen, an III collagen ratio compared that group. In first year after injury, decorin also higher than Biglycan correlated closely levels. These results suggest differences cellular expression torn ligaments attach structures versus those which do not. Although molecular mechanisms responsible these have not been delineated, different signals may influence or alternatively, differing be subject mechanical loads leading altered expression. However, finding endogenous activity injured raises possibility this enhanced improve outcomes.
