摘要: Introduction Cytotoxic CD8+ T-cell lymphomas are only rarely encountered and thus remain poorly characterized. Our aim was to collect correlate clinical histological data of skin lymphoma infiltrates obtain a proper subtype assignment derive putative prognostic markers thereof. Methods Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue 35 patients with cytotoxic cutaneous retrieved from the archives Institute Pathology Department Dermatology, University Hospital Wuerzburg, dating back 1998 until 2015. Cytological, histological, immunohistochemical molecular genetic features were assessed correlated respective data. Results The identified cases atypical lymphoproliferative (n = 35) comprised 13 mycosis fungoides (MF)/Sezary syndrome (SS), 4 subcutaneous panniculitis-like (SPTCL), 5 primary acral [formerly indolent lymphoid proliferation (ILP)] 1 case aggressive epidermotropic (AECTCL). Moreover, nine classified as peripheral lymphoma, not otherwise specified (PTCL-NOS) three systemic PTCL-NOS. Multiple lesions, high proliferative index especially final attribution AECTCL or PTCL-NOS associated worse survival. Coexpression CD68 by tumor cells exclusively observed in indicated an invariably benign course. No further distinctive could be derived our analysis. Conclusion Cutaneous comprise clinically histologically heterogeneous entities either secondary lymphomas. A thorough clinicopathological correlation staging examinations remains mainstay for correct prognostication long no better have been defined.
