摘要: The effect of probenecid on the transport tetraethylammonium (TEA) was investigated in rabbit reanal cortical slices an attempt to ascertain interaction organic anion with cation system proximal tubule. Probenecid reversibly inhibited TEA uptake by a dose-dependent manner over concentration range 1 and 5 mM. efflux not affected presence 3 mM probenecid. Kinetic analysis indicated that decreased Vmax without significant change Km. significantly tissue oxgen consumption at concentrations However, did reduce brush border basolateral membrane vesicles prepared from renal cortex even higher 10 mM. These results indicate reduces inhibiting metabolism rather than transporter.
