摘要: Industry recognizes wireless sensor networks as one of the next major technical and economical shifts in automation control systems. Industrial applications need performance assurances communication, which is hard to attain given variability environment where such are deployed. In this paper, we quantify impact environmental conditions, namely temperature, fog, rain on communication links. We further investigate influence industrial casing evaluating an ATEX enclosure intended for use potentially explosive atmospheres. Knowledge potential conditions special casings provides important input robust design during deployment planning.
