摘要: The susceptibility to apoptotic stimuli, the degree of differentiation and adhesive properties are important determinants a tumor's biological behavior possibility it's being influenced by treatment. In this study we examined effects combined thermochemotherapy, consisting administration alkylating agents ifosfamide or mafosfamide with hyperthermia at 41 degrees C for one hour, applied human mammary carcinoma MX-1. We concentrated our observations on apoptosis-associated proteins bax bcl-2, cytokeratin vimentin as markers differentiation, desmosomes antiadhesive epithelial membrane antigen episialin. These were visualized immunohistochemically in cultured cells vitro well xenotransplants growing nude mice vivo. found that surviving measured bax/bcl-2 ratio, was much higher after thermochemotherapy than chemotherapy thermotherapy alone. Many these could probably be forced into apoptosis later applying another kind anticancer therapy. With regard expression episialin fewer possessed an and, therefore, potentially invasive capacity. number seemed not affected. As their unchanged vimentin, appear more differentiated. Since results observed vivo vitro, it seems likely that, apart from its influence perfusion tumor, amplification cytostatic efficacy must mediated direct mechanism.
