摘要: A universal eating monitor has been developed that permits covert continuous weighing of a subject's plate or other food reservoir by means concealed electronic balance. By coupling the device with digital computer, it is possible to record precisely amount consumed every 3 s throughout single-course meal consisting relatively homogeneous mixture foods. The have used compare total intake, duration, initial rate and deceleration intake in human subjects ingesting either solid liquid version same after 6 h without food. It was found form eaten faster than form, but amounts each were not significantly different. These results suggest when consumption controlled physical consistency food, determined alone. Further studied are necessary determine relative roles visual cues interoceptive signals on quantity eaten.
