摘要: The core components of telomerase are RNA (TR) and reverse transcriptase (TERT). In vertebrate cells, TR TERT have been reported to associate with intranuclear structures, including Cajal bodies nucleoli as well telomeres. Here, we examined the time course both localization assembly in Xenopus oocytes. major trafficking pathway for microinjected is through into nucleoplasm, a fraction found at later points. Telomerase precedes nucleolar TR, mutants that do not localize form active enzyme, indicating required TERT. Assembly coincides Cajal-body localization; however, also unaffected by CAB-box mutation (which significantly reduces association bodies), suggesting important assembly. Our results suggest occurs nucleoplasm. Unexpectedly, our experiments reveal disruption CAB box does eliminate early targeting bodies, role cannot be excluded on basis existing knowledge.
