摘要: Abstract The stability of tetrahydropterins to oxidation has been investigated. Oxidation products, pterin and dihydroxanthopterin, tetrahydrobiopterin were separated identified. cleavage the side chain tetrahydroneopterin is shown be an irreversible reaction coupled oxidative process. split off as glyceraldehyde. Incubation mixtures labeled in rat liver homogenates have analyzed using chromatographic procedures, whic allow balances all pteridine metabolites established. Formation acidic lumazine, 6-hydroxylumazine 6,7-dihydroxylumazine, from these ascribed enzymatic reactions which are characterized under various conditions. occurrence some pteridines usually present biological extracts discussed light findings.
