A framework for second-order parton showers

摘要: Abstract A framework is presented for including second-order perturbative corrections to the radiation patterns of parton showers. The formalism allows combine O ( α s 2 ) -corrected iterated → 3 kernels “ordered” gluon emissions with tree-level 4 “unordered” ones. combined Sudakov evolution kernel thus accurate . As a first step towards full-fledged implementation these ideas, we develop an explicit shower branchings in this letter.
