摘要: Reliable indicators are needed to study the relationship between inflammatory response of growing rabbit and breeding factors such as feeding practices. A lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulation is a valid model bacterial infection in laboratory animals, but no data on has yet been obtained. The aim our was determine an adequate dose LPS inject rabbits order elicit measurable terms plasmatic TNF-α rise rectal temperature. Three trials were carried out this study: 2 development trials, first (n=18) testing 3 doses (2, 10, 50 μg/kg) concentration at 90 180 min post injection, second trial (n=36) 4 (50, 75, 100 150 injection third designed application method large number animals (n=32) effect feed restriction dietary increase digestible fibre starch ratio challenge rabbits. In 1 2, had responses for higher than 10 μg/kg with responsive along dose. High variability observed concentrations (coefficient variation from 44 94%). Animals demonstrated temperature all injected range 50-150 peak (Δ Tr  =1.9±0.7°C). Our observations led us choose following studies, most satisfactory. protocol nutritional enabled validate =1.1±0.7°C 15/32 animals) even though we not able demonstrate any level or diet injection.
