摘要: Abstract A description is given of work developed in the United Kingdom to estimate conservation importance roadside verges. Investigations into management requirements that will satisfy highway engineers, whilst encouraging wildlife habitats, have been made. The liaison between interests and authorities stressed. Some aspects potential for creative motorway land are discussed, together with apparent similarity motorways railways.
