摘要: Abstract Orthodontic and surgical treatment planning in the conventional articulator is compared with three-dimensional computer tomographic (3D-CT) model surgery an individually milled skull model. After tomography has been completed of patient'S that a bimaxillary asymmetric disharmony, data set transferred to generate polyurethane foam models. The imprecisely delineated dental arches are replaced by casts allow simulation various orthodontic procedures. Expected segment displacement, best osteotomy lines, resulting skeletal symmetry relation up can be evaluated. Although technique both time-consuming expensive traditional through articulator, we have included 3D-CT our presurgical work-up patients severe dentofacial disharmonies. Especially cases, skulls higher precision planning. (A M J O RTHOD D ENTOFAC RTHOP 1994;106:156-60.)
