摘要: This article evaluates and extends the psychometric properties of Self Other Scale (SOS). The scale is designed to measure two types threat self construction, namely, an insecurity (fear exclusion) engulfment intrusion). Previous analysis SOS has been based on nonclinical student populations with a narrow age range. present study addresses this limitation by examining adult population (N = 150) covering life span varied socioeconomic status. Results are compared those previous study. Statistical supports construct validity reliability scale. Clinical implications explored.
