摘要: Stem cell factor (SCF) has a significant role in the inflammation and activation of allergic airway responses. When monoclonal anti-SCF was administered intratracheally during allergen challenge there alteration eosinophil accumulation hyperreactivity (AHR). Anti-SCF treatment also attenuated pulmonary cytokine chemokine levels. In particular, an antibody dose-dependent decrease interleukin (IL)-5 tumour necrosis (TNF)-α. There reduction CCL2 CCL5, which correlated with AHR. Mice treated demonstrated gob-5 gene expression, been shown to correlate goblet hyperplasia/metaplasia relating mucus production. Blocking SCF-mediated within using indicates that this may represent viable target for therapeutic intervention could affect multiple aspects allergen-induced immunopathology.
