摘要: Summary Background Perforator-based propeller flaps provide adequate soft tissue coverage for leg reconstruction. The aim of this study was to assess the versatility and reliability use reconstruction in pediatric patients. Method Seven male patients ranging age from 2 13 years with a mean 6.7 underwent perforator-based flap surgery over four-year period. defects resulted burn injuries ( n  = 4) traffic accidents  = 3). were located on ankles four knee, anterior lower tibia, foot dorsum other three patients, respectively. Results sizes ranged 5 × 3 10 × 6 cm size 7.6 × 4.3 cm. Flap harvesting time 38 56 m 46 m. rotation degree range 90° 180°. based posterior tibial artery  = 4),  = 2), descending branch lateral circumflex femoral  = 1). All survived completely without surgical complication; however, one patient developed disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome two days post-surgery died within days. Conclusion is safe, reliable, versatile method extremities patients; it requires meticulous dissection extreme patience during procedure.
