摘要: To the Editor. —In a previous issue of theArchives, Treece et al1reported clinical application tetracycline hydrochloride for sclerosing recurrent thyroid cysts with uniformly successful results. However, in January Ryan and Dwarakanathan,2in their letter, Treece,3in his reply, described untoward effects this therapy, which were extreme pain occurring almost immediately area injection nerve palsy. Both Dwarakanathan2and Treece3stated that these adverse attributed to extravasation into surrounding tissue. We would like describe an alternate procedure using polytef (Teflon) intravenous cannula placement unit prevent drug. Report Case. —A 75-year-old woman was found have 2.5×3.5cm nodule right lobe
