摘要: The vertical component of specific discharge was estimated across several depth zones in the aquifer system at Canutillo, Texas. using temperature and thermal conductivity data from four observation wells bottoming near base system. Specific first calculated (using a steady-state model) slopes conductive heat flow versus plots. plots for all suggested zone downward ground-water ∼ 70 to 220 feet one or two upward 800 depth. Head did support conclusion an upper downflow as indicated by data; however, head that ground water should presently be moving feet. A computer model developed determine if temperatures may remanent therefore reflect prepumping flow, particularly deep zone. Computer estimates were made during-pumping For upflow. similar having flow. In upflow modeled on same order magnitude estimates. Hence, present demonstrate significant groundwater might used estimate past
