摘要: Abstract Organic electro-optic (EO) materials have been widely studied and used in microwave photonic devices, due to their advantages half-wave voltage, bandwidth, low cost ease of integration. Nonlinear optical (NLO) chromophores, as the core organic EO materials, can directly decide characters including large activity, long term stability, solubility loss. Auxiliary donors attracted great attentions NLO chromophores for strong electron donating ability significant isolation effect. This feature article describes application auxiliary donor activities, characters, crystal structures machinability.
