Spin dynamics and magneto-optical response in charge-neutral tunnel-coupled quantum dots

摘要: We model the electron and hole spin dynamics in an undoped double quantum dot structure, considering carrier tunneling between dots. Taking into account also presence of in-plane or tilted magnetic field, we provide simulation magneto-optical experiments, like time resolved Kerr rotation measurement, which are performed currently on such structures to probe temporal dynamics. With our model, reproduce experimentally observed effect extension polarization life caused by spatial charge separation, may occur this type. Moreover, a number qualitative predictions concerning necessary conditions for observation as well about possible channels its suppression, including spin-orbit coupling, leads carriers accompanied spin-flip. consider impact field tilting, results interesting
