摘要: In terrestrial ecosystems, plants take up phosphate predominantly via association with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF). We identified loss of responsiveness to AMF in the rice (Oryza sativa) mutant hebiba, reflected by absence physical contact and characteristic transcriptional responses fungal signals. Among 26 genes deleted DWARF 14 LIKE is, one responsible for symbiosis . It encodes an alpha/beta-fold hydrolase, that is a component intracellular receptor complex involved detection smoke compound karrikin. Our finding reveals unexpected plant recognition strategy previously unknown signaling link between development.
