摘要: The growth of Lewis lung carcinoma (LLC) was sustained in plasminogen-deficient mice when transplanted into the dorsal skin but dramatically suppressed another anatomic location, footpad. This unanticipated negative effect plasminogen deficiency on footpad tumor entirely relieved by superimposing a deficit fibrinogen. finding not simply an unusual feature LLC tumors—T241 fibrosarcoma also restricted fibrinogen-dependent manner. probable mechanistic basis for suppression revealed through transmission electron microscopy studies tissues. Occlusive microvascular thrombi were commonplace within tumors from mice, whereas no such lesions observed either or that lacked data infer is compromised as function formation and persistence vaso-occlusive limit blood supply. These indicate fibrinogen can serve critical determinants growth, their relative importance dependent microenvironment. Furthermore, these suggest one target plasmin(ogen) relevant to progression vivo intravascular fibrin.
