摘要: Do apartment owners in Bulgaria and Latvia carry out energy-saving practices their homes, what are the justifications thereof? they relate these to climate change or environmental knowledge? These main questions investigated this research. Data drawn from a qualitative survey of dwellers’ renovation activities motivations thereof. Results indicate that poor conditions multi-apartment buildings feeling being cold uncomfortable sufficient levers driving energy-related renovations privately-owned apartments. Environmental concern is never expressed as lever for undertaking renovation, either there exist some scepticism misunderstanding concerning change.
