摘要: In this study, we examined vegetation structure and regeneration status of woody plants in the Hallideghie wildlife reserve, Ethiopia. We collected data on abundance, height diameter at breast (DBH) plant species with DBH >2.5 cm within sixty-six 20 m × sample plots counted number individuals seedlings (that is, 1.5 <2.5 cm) each five 1 subplots nested main plot. To describe structure, computed size frequency distributions importance value indexes (IVI). Overall, recorded 986 tree/shrub stems, belonging to 46 species. Both represented class showed decreasing trends increasing classes. However, different varying patterns structure. IVI varied from 0.3 69.1. The average density seedlings, saplings matured HWR were 1345, 899 374 individuals/ha, respectively. Balanites aegyptiaca Acacia tortilis, high IVIs, also among those that exhibited poor status. Key words: DBH, values index (IVI), Prosopis juliflora, density, invasive
