摘要: The lung is a complex system in biology and medicine alike. Whereas there good understanding of the anatomy histology embryonic adult lung, less known about molecular details cellular pathways that ultimately orchestrate formation affect its health. From forward genetic approach to identify novel genes involved formation, we identified mutated Nubp1 gene, which leads syndactyly, eye cataract hypoplasia. In expressed progenitor cells distal epithelium. Nubp1(m1Nisw) mutants show increased apoptosis accompanied by loss markers Sftpc, Sox9 Foxp2. addition, mutation disrupts localization polarity protein Par3 mitosis relevant Numb. Using knock-down studies epithelial cells, also demonstrate function regulating centrosome dynamics microtubule organization. Together, represents an essential for survival coordinating vital processes including cell centrosomal dynamics.
