摘要: Plant pathogenic bacteria, phytoplasmas, viruses and viroids are difficult to control, preventive measures essential minimize the losses they cause each year in different crops. In this context, rapid accurate methods for detection diagnosis of these plant pathogens required apply treatments, undertake agronomic or proceed with eradication practices, particularly quarantine pathogens. recent years, there has been an exponential increase number protocols based on nucleic-acid tools being those PCR RT-PCR now routinely applied worldwide. Nucleic acid extraction is still necessary many cases practice inhibition problems decreasing theoretical sensitivity molecular detection. For reasons, integrated that include use techniques as screening methods, followed by confirmation other supported biological principles advisable. Overall, types amplification very especially real-time leading high throughput, faster more most severe pathogens, important benefits agriculture. Other technologies, such isothermal amplification, microarrays, etc. have great potential, but their practical development pathology underway. Despite advances, some unsolved concerning due low titre plants, uneven distribution, existence latent infections lack validated sampling protocols. Research genomic advances innovative well better knowledge pathogens' lifecycle, will facilitate early detection, thus improving sanitary status cultivated plants near future.
