摘要: The Golgi apparatus (GA) is a bona fide Ca2+ store; however, there lack of GA-specific mobilizing agents. Here, we report that emetine specifically releases from GA in HeLa and HL-1 atrial myocytes. Additionally, it has become evident the trans-Golgi labile store requires continuous source either external milieu or ER, to enable produce detectable transient increase cytosolic Ca2+. Our data indicates emetine-sensitive mechanism different two classical release mechanisms, i.e. IP3 ryanodine receptors. This newly discovered ability may explain why chronic consumption ipecac syrup muscle side effects.
